The first episode saw Sir Trevor visit the vibrant city of New Orleans, where he headed for the Garden District to see its impressive collection of mansions, some of which have been in the same family for generations. In contrast to the Garden District, Trevor also visited the Third Ward of the city, where most of the inhabitants are descendants of slaves.

He attended a jazz funeral; a music and dance parade to see off one of the much-loved members of the community. And he of course headed to downtown New Orleans where jazz began and stopped by the Howling Wolf Club to listen to the music and join in the dancing.

Funway Holidays’ USA product manager, Casey Hurford, says: “We are seeing encouraging sales to New Orleans returning since the devastating impact of Hurricane Katrina. As a result of heavy investment into the hotel and tourism industry, New Orleans is attracting back visitors with excellent tactical rates and offers. It is hoped this new TV show will boost sales even further.”
