The news that Andre 3000 and Big Boi have reformed OutKast is something to get excited about, and you can see them headline this year’s Bestival which takes place 4th-7th September in what will be one of only two UK festival appearances this summer.
Plus, those heading to Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight will also enter a whole desert island of disco madness as the 2014 event chooses a theme that will see plenty of mirror balls and funky headwear.
Chief Bestival booker, Rob da Bank commented: “Hey ya! I’m pretty darn excited to announce that OutKast are headlining Bestival this year! We’ve fought hard to get the recently reunited legendary hip-hop duo onto the ferry… and it’s no ordinary ferry this year as Bestival goes Desert Island Disco for 2014… Palm trees, grass skirts and mirrorballs are the order of the day. It truly is gonna be the Bestival yet!”
