You can join Oz Clarke, drink the good stuff and enjoy a cruise at the same time.

This September and October wine enthusiasts and foodies alike can experience Europe’s rich wine heritage with renowned expert, Oz Clarke and Celebrity Cruises.

Known for his extensive wine knowledge and accessible no-nonsense approach, Oz will host a series of masterclasses, food and wine pairings as well as bespoke shore excursions. Working in partnership with Celebrity Cruises since 2012, Oz has crafted an entertaining programme for guests keen to learn more about wine across two cruises.

The 12-night cruise holiday – designed to impress the palates of food and wine aficionados – takes in renowned vineyards throughout France, Spain and Portugal during the annual grape harvest and provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy gastronomic experiences both on land and at sea and improve their knowledge of wine.

You will be able to join Oz and Tom Doorley, one of Ireland’s leading food writers and wine columnists, on a trip to the picturesque village of Saint Emillon and enjoy lunch at one of the region’s most intriguing restaurants – in a cave. After a wander around town you’ll head to Chateau Siaurac in Lalande-de-Pomerol – the neighbouring appellation to Pomeral and home to Bordeaux’s most expensive red wines.  Set in 60 hectares of beautiful grounds this family run chateau, dating back to 1832, offers a unique wine experience. As well as an insight into workings of a vineyard during harvest, guests will enjoy a tasting of some of the fantastic wines available at the vineyard.

There are a number of packages and these are an additional element to the cruise holiday.
