ITV has welcomed back a second series of the hit crime drama, Broadchurch and visitors to Dorset’s West Bay can see for themselves the high cliffs and beaches that have become so symbolic of the hit show.
Broadchurch has done a lot to showcase the natural beauty of West Bay, part of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, and rightly so as the area has lots to offer.
Not only is it a lovely seaside location for family holidays, there’s fossil hunting, coastal and country walks, fishing, scuba diving, paragliding and golf, as well as exploring the historic market town of Bridport, where the writer of Broadchurch, Chris Chibnall lived.
And for die-hard fans there are ‘Broadchurch Tours’ to all the key sites from the show including the police station, newsagent and death cliff.
